A day as sweet as honey for Estela and Mason’s Austin wedding day!
A Texas wildflower theme was key in the designs for this May Austin wedding. We love when couples want a rainbow of bold colors. Custom designed invitations make it easy to get the exact look you want.
Invitation Planning
Firstly, booking custom stationery earliest is best. I met Estela and Mason over Zoom at the end of 2021. After getting to know them and more about their style and ideas, we got started designing. We decided to include a custom crest as a focal piece of their invitations. Both their engagement location and florals were included to create a detail uniquely theirs. Additionally, Mason’s love of beekeeping was shown in a sketched beehive and petal pressed bee wax seal. Bright envelopes and florals caught the eye of their guests for this Austin wedding day.
Day-Of Austin Wedding Signage
Although the RSVPs hadn’t returned yet, signage for the day was started. No detail was spared in Estela’s vision. Guests were greeted by a fresh take on a guestbook. I provided the graphics for this custom wildflower sign for guests to sign on arrival, according to the florals on the invitations.
Day-of signage posted around their wedding guided guests throughout the event. A welcome sign greeted guests and an order of events sign shared what to expect throughout the evening. Reminding guests to unplug while entering the ceremony space was also displayed. All signage was topped by beautifully arranged florals to add texture.
Despite the heat of the day, everyone enjoyed a tasty meal surrounded by friends and family. Guest names attached to honey served as both the seating place cards and a sweet gift to take home. Undoubtedly the most attention to detail was given to the menus. These were printed on plantable paper guests could take home to plant their own Texas poppies.
Unlike a lot of weddings, the evening’s entertainment included trivia, both about Estela and Mason and wedding facts in general. Did you know, on average, 140,000 weddings are host in Las Vegas each year?
Ultimately, both area Austin wedding vendors and Atlanta wedding vendors joined to create a magical day, bringing together two beautiful people!
